ABOUT THE MUSIC
The riches of Germanic music are represented by masters from three different centuries. Mendelssohn’s delightful Nocturne for winds from the 19th century is followed by Strauss’ devastatingly beautiful post-war Metamorphoses for strings. We’ll conclude with the eternal Mozart’s Symphony #39.
