Balkan Orchestra offers a once-weekly rehearsal at Santa Monica’s Virginia Avenue Park. The ensemble is open to everyone, welcoming beginners on percussion instruments and experienced musicians on their Western instruments. A wide variety of traditional and folk music of the Balkans is taught to students of all ages.
Rehearsals run in conjunction with the academic calendar. Registration for the 2025-26 year will open in August.
