Since 2012, Santa Monica Youth Orchestra has been serving the Westside community through tuition-free ensemble music-making. Originally led out of Virginia Avenue Park, the program served over 100 students at its peak and has performed at LACMA, UCLA’s Hammer Museum, the Skirball Center, and more. It is always tuition-free and instruments are available for students in need.
